Reverend Dr. Tony B. Young, Jr.
Reverend Dr. Tony B. Young Jr. is a servant leader who loves to encourage, educate and empower others to succeed. He is an Ordained Elder, Certified Counselor, Accomplished Musician and Author. He serves as the Assistant to Bishop Preston DH Leonard, International Bishop and Senior Pastor of Christ Gospel Church of St. Petersburg.
His book, The Anatomy of True Worship, has been distributed throughout the United States and Internationally. He has preached and shared the gospel of Jesus Christ both domestically and internationally. He is a conference facilitator, Bible teacher, Christian family counselor and Host of radio program, The Crucified Message. His hobbies include reading, writing, performing music, traveling and spending quality time with his wife, his “Queen”. He and his lovely wife Kathi have five children.

Dr. Young has earned numerous degrees including a Bachelors in Sociology (University of South FL), Masters in Theology and Ph.D. in Counseling (International Seminary). He has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity (Beacon
College & Seminary, Jacksonville FL). He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and is a Certified Leadership Coach (Light University/AACC).
He is married to his "Queen" Kathi Young who is a devoted and dedicated wife and mother. She is the first lady of Christ Gospel Church of St. Petersburg. She is an anointed worship leader whose music CD Highest Praise has been sang and enjoyed by many. She is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She has earned a Bachelors in Religious Education (International Seminary). She has over 30 years of experience in the banking & Trust Industry and is currently a Trust Officer at Raymond James Financial.
